Happy Anniversary!!

Today marks 8 long years since Kyle and I said "I do".  I can't believe that I have been married for 8 years.  Some days it feels like a LOT longer and other days it's still surreal that I've been a relationship this long.

We have definitely had our ups and downs and been through more in these last 8 years than some married couples experience is 25 years.  We've survived 3 separations, finding out we were pregnant with twins, birthing twins, raising twins, losing our son, burying our son, grieving our son and so much more.  There have been many times that I've been ready to throw in the towel, but I haven't.  I'm quite sure Kyle feels the same way! (I can't imagine living with me AND Kaitlyn!)

It's been said that the "7 year itch" is the worst year for marriages.  Welp, we've survived it, so I guess that's another thing we've got under our belt.

On Monday, we're taking off for Savannah, GA for a mini getaway without the girls and I couldn't be more excited.  Neither of us has ever been to Savannah, so it's going to be a new adventure for both of us.  I am a little freaked out about leaving the girls for 3 days/2 nights, but they'll be in good hands and I'm sure they won't even miss us.
