I only wish I knew what the birthday celebrations were like in Heaven.

I can’t say I wish you were here to celebrate instead because I know your earthly life fails in comparison to the life you are living now. But it would be nice if the girls got the chance to know their "Papa". I hate that you had to go, but I'm so grateful you were there to welcome Erik with open arms. Happy 84th Birthday Papa!!! We sure do miss you and your contagious laugh!!! Do me a favor, if you can get Erik to slow down long enough, give him a kiss for me!

Birthday's and Anniversaries are hard, hope you find some peace today and feel the love of family (and even blogging friends) all around you.
